Dance Theatre

Kumpanya Performing Arts launched a new initiative in 2026. This open call invites anyone with an

interest in contemporary dance to become part of a growing, connected artistic community.

No formal education or professional background in dance or theater is required. We believe in

curiosity, commitment, and the expressive power of the body. Whether you are experienced, self-

taught, or simply eager to explore movement, you are welcome.

Through this initiative, we aim to form a dedicated group of volunteers who are willing to commit

three hours per week to collective training, creation, and exchange. Theatre , we will work toward

developing dance theater performances that speak across cultures and communities.

Kumpanya Dance Theatre seeks to connect different social and cultural communities in the

Netherlands through the universal language of the body. Our process values collaboration, diversity,

and shared authorship, creating space for both artistic growth and meaningful human connection.
